Are you getting great CTRs (click through rates) but very low conversion rates on your Facebook or Instagram ads? I know, it can get a bit frustrating when we see a lot of traffic coming into our website but they aren’t opting into our offer or buying our products. Here are 4 easy tips that I use to optimize my clients’ conversion rate and that you can implement on your ads today:
- Make sure that you are using the right objective for your ad campaigns. The best objective to get more people to take action on your offers is the “conversions” objective.
- Check the profiles of people who are engaging with your ad (likes and comments). Are they your ideal clients? If they are not, you may want to optimize your ads targeting and test different audiences. If they are your ideal client, move to tip #3
- Make sure the images that you have on your landing page are very similar (or the same) as the pictures you are using for your ads. People may feel discouraged to click on your offer if they don’t see the same branding they engaged with on your ad.
- Make sure you have multiple CTA (call to action) buttons on your landing page. I always suggest my clients to at least have one above the fold. If you have an e-commerce business, make sure that the products you are promoting are at the top of the landing page.
